    didi, hamare schools, collages main hindi nhi parhayee jatee, laikin kia ap yaqeen karo gi ke main hindi parh sakta hun?

    well, i have been writing in english for a long time, so i thought about giving hindi and bengali a try.. it will take some time to polish them. :)

    what is the language you use? i used to think that you know hindi very well..

  3. Dear sister, we read and write Urdu, a national language of Pakistan. In speaking there is not much difference in Urdu and Hindi. But Urdu is written with nearly the same alphabets wich are used in arabic language. So, the difference is in writing not in speaking, we call it Urdu and you call it hindi. I have learnt a few alphabets of hindi so, can read and understand a little bit of hindi. Btw My mother tongue is Punjabi wich is spoken in Indian and Pak Punjab.

    right, there is not much difference in spoken urdu and hindi.. but the alphabet is certainly not remotely similar.. :)
    its a surprise that you can read hindi. i cant read urdu.
    my brother studied in aligarh muslim university they had to learn arabic..
    i know very little punjabi :)
